The Blade has defined the 5-batten wave sail category for over 20 years. The 027 Blade builds on that foundation; sharper, lighter, and more dialled than ever.
Sailing the Blade feels smooth and effortless. The sail does the work; the rider stays focused on the wave. Forward driving profiles and reduced back-hand pressure keep the rig locked in; wind variations don’t register.
XR Xtended Range locks deeper, more powerful profiles in place with added skin tension; wind range extended at both ends.
The FatHead opens further under load for high-end control without sacrificing aero efficiency.
Gradient Panel Technology reduces weight, increases strength, and controls stretch throughout.
The 027 Blade sets a new standard by integrating these design concepts with SEVERNE’s materials, including eM3, SpiderFibre, eM4 as well as D6 Dacron in the luff. CarbonFusion welded foot panels and carbon load transfer strips have come down from the Blade Pro to the standard Blade. And this is just the standard model.
